It looks like this weekend is going to be similar to last weekend with another uninvited guest, Hurricane (or Tropical Storm) Danny Boy, swinging through the area. Let's hope that this does not take away from the Newport Arts Festival at the Newport Yachting Center (map). The Arts Festival runs for two days, August 29 & 30, and admission is $3 (children under 12 free). In a separate event at the Yachting Center, Saturday night features a special waterfront concert featuring Avi & Celia and Twist of Fate.
